Abstract:
The present invention can be easily installed on a desired site on a ship and enables at least a shower using hot water at the installation site. A seawater desalination device for ships is provided in a housing that is movable by means of either a trolley or casters and comprises a soft water generation unit that is downstream of a potable water storage unit and softens potable water via a water pump. The soft water generation unit is provided with: a soft-water supply line which sends soft water via a directional control valve to a first outlet; and a hot-water supply line for shower which has a heater for making soft water hot and which sends the hot water in the heater to a second outlet. The seawater desalination device further comprises a control unit which controls each of a high-pressure pump, the water pump, and the directional control valve.
