Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a scraper chain monitoring system and method based on the measurement of the light transmission amount of a torsion spring. The system comprises: a chain wheel torsion detection device, a fixing device, a wireless receiver, an A/D converter and an industrial computer. In the method, the relative torsion of two chain wheels is converted into a change in the density of a torsion spring, a laser sensing panel converts a light transmittance area into the magnitude of a current, and an industrial computer calculates a torque change range by means of a preset threshold value and a program of the industrial computer itself, so as to monitor a working condition of a chain. The method has a novel design, the system is stable and reliable, and the method and system have a relatively high promotional value.
