Abstract:
Provided is a scaffold material for cell culture with which it is possible to maintain the culture stability of cells over an extended period of time. A scaffold material for cell culture according to the present invention includes a peptide-containing (meth)acrylic copolymer having a (meth)acrylic copolymer moiety and a peptide moiety bonded to the (meth)acrylic copolymer moiety. The (meth)acrylic copolymer moiety has a structural unit derived from a (meth)acrylate compound (A) represented by formula (A1) or formula (A2). The content ratio of structural units derived from the (meth)acrylate compound (A) is 25-98 mol% inclusive in 100 mol% of total structural units of the (meth)acrylic copolymer moiety. In formula (A1), R represents a C2-18 hydrocarbon group. In formula (A2), R represents a C2-18 hydrocarbon group.
