A sand-cleaning device for a cast, comprising a support (1) and a rotary box (2) mounted on the support, wherein the rotary box rotates with the support, the cross section of the rotary box is a polygon with at least five sides, a driven gear (3) is fixed at an end part of the rotary box, and sand outlet holes (4) are densely distributed on a side part of the rotary box; a driving electric motor (5) is further arranged on the support, a driving gear (6) is fixed on an output shaft of the driving electric motor, and the driving gear meshes with the driven gear; and a cast placing inlet (7) is provided at the side part of the rotary box, and a sealing plate (8) is arranged on the cast placing inlet in a matched manner. The sand-cleaning device shakes off sand attached to the surface of a cast by means of vibration generated when the rotary box rotates, such that the purpose of sand cleaning is achieved, and such a sand cleaning manner is not only good in terms of effect but also high in terms of efficiency; and the polygonal structure of the cross section of the rotary box can generate large and stable vibrations to the cast, thereby facilitating shaking-off of sand on the surface of the cast.
