Abstract:
The run-flat tire according to this invention comprises a tread portion, side wall portions, bead portions, side reinforcing rubbers, and a carcass. A tire inner surface is provided with an inner liner. An inner layer rubber is arranged between the side reinforcing rubbers and the inner liner. For the inner layer rubber, when a test piece obtained by cutting out a center portion of a No. 8 dumbbell by 1 mm perpendicularly to a test-piece repetitive-tensile direction is used, and repetitive tension is applied at a frequency of 10 Hz under a condition of 150 °C in accordance with JIS K 6270, the number of times of repetition until the test piece brakes is twice or more of that in the case of the side reinforcing rubber in a range in which applied tensile strain is 10%-30%. A ratio t2/t1 is 0.05-0.30 in a reference state.
