A ruled line formation device (30) that implements a ruled line process on a cardboard web (1W). The ruled line formation device (30) comprises: a ruled line bar (31) that protrudes along a surface that follows the width direction and the extension direction of the cardboard web (1W), the ruled line bar (31) being such that a projection (32) extending linearly along the width direction is separably supported with respect to a surface; and a press-fitting mechanism (34) that implements a ruled line process by causing the ruled line bar (31) to move in a reciprocating manner between a separation position in which the projection (32) is separated from the surface and a pressing position at which the projection (32) is pressed against the surface in the thickness direction of the cardboard web (1W). The projection (32) is provided in a shape such that the entire region pressed during reciprocation of the press-fitting mechanism (34) toward the pressing position is simultaneously in contact with a linear region of the surface that follows the width direction, and such that the projection (32) protrudes uniformly toward the surface irrespective of the width-direction position.
