Abstract:
Disclosed is a rotor for a rotating electric machine, comprising a rotor core, first permanent magnets in first magnet holes, and second permanent magnets in second magnet holes, wherein the first magnet hole has a convex shape protruding radially inward on one side in the circumferential direction with respect to a d-axis, the second magnet hole has a convex shape protruding inward in the radial direction of the core on one side in the circumferential direction with respect to the d-axis, and in the first magnet holes and/or the second magnet holes, portions that sandwich the d-axis or extend to both sides in the circumferential direction with respect to the d-axis while passing through the d-axis have a convex shape protruding inward in the radial direction of the core when viewed in the axial direction, and the convex shape protruding inward in the radial direction of the core has a curved portion when viewed in the axial direction.
