Abstract:
Provided is a rotation biasing device that makes it possible to improve the ease of mounting a torsion coil spring to a spring mount. This rotating biasing device 10 has a spring mount 20 and a torsion coil spring 50 mounted to the spring mount 20. The torsion coil spring 50 has a coil section 53 obtained by winding a wire 51, a first arm section 55 extending from the coil section 53 and locked to the spring mount 20, and a second arm section 57 extending from the coil section 53 and locked to an attachment member. The spring mount 20 has a base section 21, a coil support section 35 disposed on the outside of the coil section 53 and serving to support the coil section 53, and a claw 45 that enters an interval in the wire of the coil section 53 and holds the torsion coil spring 50 to the spring mount 20 so as not to become detached therefrom.
