Abstract:
An inspection device (1) inspects a place (120) to be inspected by being inserted into a gap (103) between a stator (102) and a rotor (101) of a rotating electric machine (100) and comprises: traveling bodies (111, 112) that are attached to a base frame (21) and make the base frame (21) move in the axial direction (Y) within the gap (103); a probe (31) that inspects the place (120) to be inspected; a radial movement portion (20) that makes the probe (31) move in the axial direction (Y) and in the radial direction (X) vertical to the circumferential direction (Z); a circumferential movement portion (30) that makes the probe (31) move in the circumferential direction (Z) within the base frame (21); and a roller (38) that is provided at an axial end portion of the probe (31) and includes a contact medium. The probe (31) has a shoe (312) comprising an ultrasonic sensor (311) and a resilient member. The probe (31) regards the side on which the roller (38) is provided as a front and inspects the place (120) to be inspected along the axial direction.
