Abstract:
In this rotary shifter, a rotation pitch angle between holding positions of a knob when switching between prescribed shift positions is set to an angle obtained by dividing 360 degrees by a first integer A (where A≥N), and a rotation pitch angle between stopping positions corresponding to holding positions of an armature when switching between the prescribed shift positions is set to an angle obtained by dividing 360 degrees by a second integer B (where A>B≥N).
