Abstract:
This rotary operator (2) comprises: a rotor (42) in which a movement path (RT1) inclined with respect to a circumferential direction centered on a rotation axis (Rx) is provided on an outer circumferential surface of the rotor, and which is rotated about the rotary axis; and a contactor (51) which is in contact with the rotor and moves in accordance with the rotation of the rotor along the movement path in a direction along the rotation axis, wherein: the rotation of the rotor about the rotation axis in a first rotation direction is restricted by positioning the contactor at a first position when the rotor is rotated in the first rotation direction and reaches a predetermined position; and when the rotation power with respect to the rotor in the first rotation direction is reduced in a state in which the rotation of the rotor in the first rotation direction from the predetermined position is restricted, the contactor is returned to a second position, and thus the rotation of the rotor from the predetermined position in the first rotation direction is allowed.
