Abstract:
The present invention provides a rolling apparatus and a rolling method for rolling an electrode sheet by using the rolling apparatus, the rolling apparatus allowing electrode sheets to pass through a space between a pair of rolling rollers so as to roll the electrode sheets, each of which includes a double-sided coated portion obtained by applying an electrode mixture onto opposite surfaces of a current collector and an one-sided coated portion obtained by applying an electrode mixture onto one surface of a current collector. The rolling rollers include an upper roller and a lower roller, and the upper roller or the lower roller includes a step height correcting member which adds a step height to the thickness of the rolling roller by a thickness corresponding to a step height of each of the double-sided coated portion and the one-sided coated portion.
