Abstract:
Provided is a roll press device wherein a thickness gauge is provided to the output side of a first pressure roller and a second pressure roller, and detects the thickness of a secondary battery electrode plate at each of three or more points in the width direction of said electrode plate. From the measured thickness values at the three or more points and a target thickness value, a calculation unit: calculates three feature values comprising a first deviation between the target thickness value and the measured thickness value at the point among the three or more points that is closest to a first compressing mechanism, a second deviation between the target thickness value and the measured thickness value at the point among the three or more points that is closest to a second compressing mechanism, and a secondary component of the thickness profile of the electrode plate; and adaptively changes the set values of the first compressing mechanism, the second compressing mechanism, a first bending mechanism, and a second bending mechanism on the basis of the three feature values.
