A risk evaluation method for a windage yaw flashover, comprising: determining an influence factor of a windage yaw flashover of a power transmission line, and setting a risk evaluation index according to the influence factor (S101); generating standard cloud of the risk evaluation index according to an accident occurrence probability and consequence level of the risk evaluation index (S103); scoring the influence factor according to the risk evaluation index, and generating risk cloud of the risk evaluation index according to a scoring result (S105); and performing two-dimensional proximity calculation on the risk cloud and the standard cloud to obtain two-dimensional proximity between the risk cloud and the standard cloud, and determining risk level of the windage yaw flashover of the power transmission line according to the two-dimensional proximity (S107).
