Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a rim protector for an anti-slip chain which can also be applied to a hook with which a member differing in shape from typical chains is engaged. [Solution] The rim protector 10 for an anti-slip chain 50 comprising a hook 58 connecting a cross chain 52 and a side chain 54, is characterized in that the rim protector 10 includes: a base 12 disposed between the hook 58 and a wheel; a positioning part 14 which protrudes with the base 12 as the base point, and which is fitted into a U-shaped void 60a of a plane engagement part 60; and a coming-off prevention part 16 which protrudes with the positioning part 14 as the base point, and which prevents coming-off of a crossing engagement part 62, wherein the rim protector is formed from a flexible member or an elastic member.
