Abstract:
The present invention relates to a restoration filter generation device and method, an image processing device and method, an image capturing apparatus, a program, and a recording medium. A restoration filter generation device according to an aspect of the present invention is provided with: an information acquisition unit (82) which acquires information indicating color-related variation in the optical transfer function of an optical system (14); and a restoration filter generation unit (84) which, on the basis of the information acquired by the information acquisition unit (82), generates a restoration filter for weakening restoration strength according to the color-related variation in the optical transfer function, the restoration filter generation unit (84) making the restoration strength of a restoration filter weaker than the restoration strength of an ideal filter determined assuming that there is no color-related variation in the optical transfer function. Consequently, excessive correction is reduced.
