Abstract:
Disclosed are a resistor-type sub-module mixed-type MMC and a direct-current fault processing policy therefor. According to the mixed-type MMC, three-phase short-circuiting to ground is artificially generated at an alternating-current side of a converter during a direct-current fault processing process, so as to prevent a fault current from entering a direct-current system from the alternating-current side. Comparing the resistor-type sub-module mixed-type MMC with a sub-module mixed-type MMC, the number of required power electronic devices can be reduced. Moreover, direct-current faults of the mixed-type MMC are processed more quickly, and the duration of the artificially made three-phase short-circuiting to ground fault during the fault processing process does not exceed 60 ms, and therefore, an alternating-current system will not be greatly influenced. In the present invention, the proportion of resistor-type sub-modules required by the MMC is only 30% of that of half-bridge sub-modules, thereby greatly reducing the cost for constructing an overhead line high-voltage flexible direct-current power transmission system, and the MMC has a very great reference significance and use value in engineering.
