The present invention relates to a resin composition for a golf ball cover, comprising a thermoplastic polyurethane resin that comprises 55-70 parts by weight of a polyol, 30-40 parts by weight of an isocyanate and 0.2-0.4 parts by weight of a polysiloxane, wherein the polysiloxane comprises at least one hydroxyl group or carboxyl group at the terminal alkyl group thereof. The polyol and the isocyanate form a thermoplastic polyurethane resin containing no silicon, and the polysiloxane and the isocyanate form a thermoplastic polyurethane resin containing silicon in the main chain thereof, and thus scuff resistance, which is required for a golf ball cover, can be improved and a slipping property can be improved.
