Abstract:
Provided are remote operation pliers with which it is possible to modify a grip angle without changing the usage sensation, and with which a worker can easily modify the grip angle alone. These remote operation pliers 1 are configured by pivotally supporting pliers 2 such that the angle thereof can be modified by a pivot shaft 12 relative to a base 8 provided to the tip of a main operation rod 4. A stationary-side grip piece 2a and a mobile-side grip piece 2b of the pliers 2 can open/close centered on the pivot shaft 12. The stationary-side grip piece 2a can modify the stationary angle relative to the base 8 by positioning an index plunger 14. The mobile-side grip piece 2b is configured to be capable of open/close operations by a sub-operation rod 6 coupled to a coupling end 2b1. The sub-operation rod 6 has a length adjustment part 10 between a tool-side end and a hand-side end. The length adjustment part 10 has a nested structure of a cylinder portion 10a and a core portion 10b, and is provided in order to maintain a constant mobile range of the sub-operation rod 6 when modifying the grip angle of the pliers 2.
