Abstract:
This reinforcing bar binding machine is provided with a retention part, a stopper, a main driving roller, a driven roller, and a twisting part. The retention part is capable of retaining a reel in which a wire is wound around a rotary shaft. The stopper can be switched between a prohibitive state in which the reel is prohibited from coming off the retention part and a permissive state in which the reel is allowed to come off the retention part. The main driving roller is capable of rotating. The driven roller can be switched between a clamping state in which a wire is held between the driven roller and the main driving roller and a non-clamping state in which a wire is not held between the driven roller and the main driving roller. The twisting part is for twisting a wire that is fed out so as to encircle reinforcing bars while being held between the main driving roller and the driven roller. The driven roller is constantly in the non-clamping state when the stopper is in the permissive state.
