Abstract:
The present technology relates to a rehabilitation method using a rehabilitation device, which can maximize the effect of rehabilitation exercise by checking in real time the difference in muscle strength between muscle strength before rehabilitation exercise and muscle strength during rehabilitation exercise for a user with hemiplegia and accordingly controlling the rotation speed of a pedal unit, and more specifically is characterized by comprising the steps of: (1) individually acquiring muscle strength information on the healthy side and affected side of the lower extremity through rotation of a pair of pedal units exposed on both sides of a body part, and transmitting the information to a control unit; (2) setting an exercise intensity required for rehabilitation exercise by calculating the load amount of the pedal units on the healthy side and the load amount of the pedal unit on the affected side through control of a speed control unit; and (3) checking the load amount of the pair of pedal unit, which changes in real time in the process of performing rehabilitation exercise, and controlling the rotation speed of the pedal units rotating by the affected side by the speed control unit.
