Abstract:
The present invention relates to a refrigerator. The refrigerator according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first storage compartment in which an article is stored; cavities provided inside the first storage compartment; a heat source for supplying heat into the cavities; a cold source for supplying cold into the cavities; a water molecule freezing prevention means for preventing water contained in the article from being frozen; and a control unit for controlling the output of at least one from among the heat source, the cold source, and the water molecule freezing prevention means, wherein the control unit controls performance of a first operation step, operated based on a first notch temperature for a cooling operation of the first storage compartment, a second operation step, operated based on a second notch temperature for a heating operation of the first storage compartment, and a third operation step, operated based on a third notch temperature for a cooling operation of the first storage compartment, the second notch temperature is a value higher than 0 °C, cold in the first storage compartment increases in the first operation step and the third operation step, and cold decreases in the second operation step. Accordingly, cold or heat can be efficiently supplied until a supercooling maintenance zone is reached.
