Abstract:
A refrigerator is disclosed. The refrigerator according to one embodiment comprises: a plurality of storage rooms; a first camera disposed on the front surface of the refrigerator; a memory; and at least one processor configured to: recognize the type of food material to be added to the refrigerator on the basis of a first image acquired through the first camera; acquire ethylene information related to the food material on the basis of the type of food material; acquire information related to the other food materials stored in the plurality of storage rooms; identify information on a storage room in which the food material is to be stored, among the plurality of storage rooms, on the basis of the ethylene information related to the food material and the information related to the other food materials; and provide the identified information on the storage room.
