Provided is a refrigeration and freezing apparatus, which comprises: a cabinet body, which has an inner compartment and a foam layer formed on the outside of the inner compartment, the inside of the inner compartment defining a storage space; an oxygen treatment apparatus, which is in gas flow communication with the storage space and is used for regulating the oxygen content of the storage space by means of an electrochemical reaction; and a liquid storage module, which is provided with a box body, same being arranged in the foam layer, and the inside of the box body defining a liquid storage space for liquid storage, the liquid storage space being in communication with the oxygen treatment apparatus via a liquid pathway, so as to supplement to the oxygen treatment apparatus electrolytes required for the electrochemical reaction. Since the box body does not occupy storage space, the refrigeration and freezing apparatus can utilize a liquid storage module to supplement electrolytes to the oxygen treatment apparatus without affecting the capacity ratio, enabling the oxygen treatment apparatus to continuously regulate the oxygen content of the storage space.
