Abstract:
The present invention reduces the amount of time for a defrosting operation in a refrigeration cycle device. A heat exchanger (11) has a plurality of paths (PA1, PA2) for dividing the flow of a refrigerant with which a refrigeration cycle is performed. A flow rate adjustment mechanism (100) adjusts the flow rate of the refrigerant flowing through the plurality of paths (PA1, PA2). The plurality of paths (PA1, PA2) include a first path (PA1) and a second path (PA2) in which the amount of time required for defrosting is longer than in the first path (PA1) when the flow rate is not adjusted in the defrosting operation. In the defrosting operation, a controller performs control such that the flow rate adjustment mechanism (100) adjusts the flow rate of the refrigerant in the first path (PA1) and the second path (PA2) to decrease the flow rate of the refrigerant in the first path (PA1) and increase the flow rate of the refrigerant in the second path (PA2).
