Abstract:
[Problem] To properly supply a reducing agent to a reduction tower even if the reducing agent contains a powdery or granular solid content. [Solution] This reducing agent supply system is for supplying a reducing agent for reducing metal oxide particles to a reduction tower of a chemical loop reaction system that comprises: an oxidization tower that oxidizes metal particles to obtain metal oxide particles; a reduction tower that reduces metal oxide particles to obtain metal particles; and a circulation unit that causes the metal particles and the metal oxide particles to circulate between the reduction tower and the oxidization tower. The reducing agent supply system comprises: a reducing agent tank that stores a reducing agent; a precipitation prevention mechanism that prevents solid content of the reducing agent in the reducing agent tank from precipitating; and a reducing agent supply line that connects the reducing agent tank to the reduction tower.
