Abstract:
Provided is a reactor comprising a coil that has a wound part and a magnetic core. The magnetic core has a plurality of segments including a first core piece. The first core piece is constituted by a composite material that contains a resin and a soft magnetic powder dispersed in the resin, and has a first part which extends in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the wound part and which is disposed at a position facing an end face of the wound part, and a second part which extends in the axial direction from the first part. The first part and the second part are formed in a continuous manner with no joint therebetween. A first relative magnetic permeability of the first part with respect to magnetic flux along the direction in which the first part extends differs from a second relative magnetic permeability of the second part with respect to magnetic flux along the direction in which the second part extends.
