This rain shield device 20 for shipment comprises: a device body 20A which is configured to cover a hatch opening that is formed when a sliding hatch cover 11 for opening/closing a top opening of a hold is opened; and a lifting and lowering device 20B that is capable of lifting and lowering the device body and that is also capable of traveling.
