The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a wiring device and a proximity sensor in which sensitivity reduction is suppressed. A light guide member (30) has a first region (31) opposed to a light-emitting part of a detection unit and a second region (32) opposed to a light-receiving part of the detection unit on a first surface, and a third region (33) on a second surface. The light guide member (30) guides light having entered from the first region (31) to the third region (33), and guides the light having entered from the third region (33) and having been reflected on an object to be detected to the second region (32). The light guide member (30) has a first end (301) and a second end (302) positioned on opposing sides of the detection unit in an arrangement direction in which the light-emitting part and the light-receiving part are arranged. At least one of a first projection part (41) projecting in the arrangement direction and a second projection part (42) projecting toward the detection unit is provided to at least one of the first end (301) and the second end (302).
