Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to the technical fields of distributed network architectures and communications. Provided are a protocol data unit (PDU) session establishment method and an apparatus. The method comprises: when a terminal moves from a first network node to a second network node, receiving information of a plurality of candidate network functions sent by the terminal or an identifier corresponding to the first network node; and, on the basis of the information of the plurality of candidate network functions or the identifier corresponding to the first network node, determining a second network function in the second network node, the second network function being used for establishing a PDU session.
