Abstract:
Protection coating composition is provided, comprising: a) at least one resin selected from a group consisting of polyurethane resin (A) and polyurethane-acrylic resin (B), b) a solvent, and c) a bi-functional epoxy resin precursor (C) represented by the following formula: R 1-Y-[CH 2-CH(OH)-R 3-CH(OH)-CH 2-X-R 4-X] n-R 2. Method for treating metallic surface by using said protection coating composition is also provided. Articles with at least one portion of treated surface by the protection coating composition show improved corrosion resistance, adhesion properties and anti-aging adhesion properties.
