Abstract:
In the present invention, a programmable logic controller (PLC) (10A) comprises: a main unit (11) for executing a control program for controlling a manufacturing device; and a plurality of expansion units. The control program includes a system configuration setting defining a connection configuration of the expansion units with respect to the main unit. The main unit, at startup, compares the connection configuration of the expansion units defined in the system configuration setting and a connection configuration of the expansion units of the actual machine. A unit number of an expansion unit that is present in the system configuration setting but not present in the actual machine is set as a missing number. A command in the control program for which the unit number having been set as the missing number is set is disabled.
