An information processing device (10) equipped with a processor (11), the information processing device (10) predicting a heavy oil reaction state, wherein the information processing device (10) executes: a step (S101) for receiving, as training data, input of the oil properties of a heavy oil to be cracked, an operating parameter relating to a heavy oil cracking device that cracks heavy oil, and a value indicating the reaction state when the heavy oil is cracked in the heavy oil cracking device according to the operating parameter; a step (S102) for training, using the training data, a first model that outputs the reaction state of the heavy oil cracking in response to input of the oil properties of the heavy oil and the operating parameter; and a step (S103) for storing the trained first model in a storage unit.
