Abstract:
A production method of a powdery polyamide according to the present invention includes: step 1 for heating and dissolving a polyamide resin composition in a metal chloride-containing alcoholic solution containing a metal chloride and an alcohol to obtain a heated polyamide solution; step 2 for diluting the heated polyamide solution with the alcohol to obtain an alcohol-diluted solution; and step 3 for cooling the alcohol-diluted solution to precipitate the powdery polyamide. In the aforesaid step 1, the ratio by mass of the metal chloride is 23-35 mass% inclusive relative to 100 mass% of the metal chloride-containing alcoholic solution. In the aforesaid step 1, the heated polyamide solution contains 0.2-2.5 mol inclusive of water per mol of the metal chloride. In the aforesaid step 2, the heated polyamide solution is diluted without lowering the temperature thereof below 50°C.
