Abstract:
In this product payout device (20), which comprises back-to-back interlinked product-dispensing devices (20a, 20b) that each prevent products in a product storage passage (13a, 13b) from moving downwards when in a standby state and dispense the bottom product in said product storage passage (13a, 13b) downwards when driven, one of the product-dispensing devices (20a) is provided with the following: a motor (43) that serves as a drive source for both product-dispensing devices (20a, 20b); a driving-force application means that, when a dispensing command is provided, selects one of the product-dispensing devices (20a, 20b) in accordance with said dispensing command and applies a driving force from the motor (43) thereto; and a control means that, if the driving-force application means does not complete an operation, performs a sold-out process that, determining that a problem has occurred in just the product-dispensing device selected by the driving-force application means, identifies the product in the product storage passage of said product-dispensing device as having sold out.
