Abstract:
This processing system that is configured from a combination of a plurality of modules is provided with: a table module (600) comprising a table on which a workpiece is to be fixed; a tool module (500) which is attached to the table module; and a drive module (560, 700, 750, 770) on which the table module and the tool module are placed. The tool module is provided with: a stationary base (504) which is placed on the drive module; a turning base (506) which is mounted to the stationary base so as to be turnable with respect to the stationary base; and a processing device (512) which is disposed so as to be capable of moving relative to the turning base in at least two straight line directions including one straight line direction for approaching or separating away from the table module and another straight line direction perpendicular to said one straight line.
