Abstract:
Provided is a printing ink containing a modified pigment that has excellent color tone selectivity and is obtained by converting a dye into a lake pigment via an environmentally friendly method that does not use a metal, particularly a metal having a valcence of two or higher. A printing ink according to the present invention includes a modified pigment and a resin, wherein the modified pigment is obtained by converting a dye having at least one among an acidic group and a basic group into a lake pigment by using at least one among an amino acid and a protein.
