Abstract:
A ribbon winding part (30) provided on a time recorder is provided with a first movement gear (31) and a second movement gear (34) that engage with a ribbon winding rack, a first middle gear (32), a reverse gear (35), and a winding member (33). The first middle gear (32) engages with the first movement gear (31) when the first movement gear (31) and the second movement gear (34) move in a first direction inside the carriage. Engagement with the first movement gear (31) is released when said gears move in the reverse direction. The reverse gear (35) engages with the first middle gear (32) and engages with the second movement gear (34) when the first movement gear (31) and the second movement gear (34) move in the reverse direction inside the carriage. Engagement with the second movement gear (34) is released when said gears move in the first direction. The winding member (33) comprises a winding shaft (332) and an output gear (331), which is formed coaxially with the winding shaft (332) and engages with the first middle gear (32).
