Abstract:
This pressing machine (1), which is a pressing machine for press-working a workpiece, comprises: a slide (3); a bolster (5); a servomotor (7); and a control unit (62). The slide (3) is movable. The bolster (5) is disposed to face the slide (3). The servomotor (7) drives the slide (3). The control unit (62) can selectively execute any mode among: a productivity priority mode in which a limitation value slower than the maximum pressing speed of the pressing machine is provided to a pressing speed when a pendulum motion or a reversal motion is performed; and a formability priority mode in which a stopping time of the servomotor (7) is provided without providing the limitation value.
