Abstract:
This press-molded article production method comprises a heating step, a conveyance step, and a press step. In the heating step, a plate-like heat storage material 5 and a plate-like workpiece W1 placed above the heat storage material 5 are heated by a heating device 14 in a state of overlapping with each other in a direction normal to the planar face of the workpiece W1. In a first conveyance step, the heat storage material 5 and the workpiece W1 placed above the heat storage material 5 are, in the state of overlapping with each other, conveyed from the heating device 14 to a lifting position. In a second conveyance step, the workpiece W1 placed above the heat storage material 5 is lifted at the lifting position by a conveyance device 46 and then conveyed to a pressing position at a pressing machine 20. In the press step, the workpiece W1 is subjected to processing by the pressing machine 20.
