Abstract:

A press forming method according to the present invention is a method for forming a press formed product 1 having a top plate portion 3, a vertical wall portion 5 which is continuous from the top plate portion 3, and has a depressed portion 7 the lower end side of which is depressed to the top plate portion 3 side, the lower end side being a side portion opposite to the top plate portion in a side view, and a flange portion 9 formed toward the outside on the lower end side of the vertical wall portion 5, the flange portion 9 being subjected to a stretch flange deformation and a shrink flange deformation. The press forming method includes: a first forming step S1 for forming an intermediate formed product 23 having the vertical wall portion 5, the flange portion 9 formed on a lower end side of a part having a deep wall depth, and a twisted shape portion 25 formed continuously with the flange portion 9; and a second forming step S3 for forming the intermediate formed product 23 into a target shape by forming the twisted shape portion 25 to the flange portion 9, and forming the flange portion 9 on a second curve portion 19 continuous with a tilted side portion 13 and on a depressed side portion 15 having a shallow wall depth.
