Abstract:
A preparation and data read method for a combined Fricke gel dosimeter. The used combined Fricke gel dosimeter is used for measuring spatial distribution of multi-dose components in boron neutron capture therapy, and comprises a standard gel dosimeter, a heavy water gel dosimeter, a nitrogen-containing gel dosimeter, and a boron-containing gel dosimeter; and the preparation of a gel dosimeter (1) comprises the following steps: 1), first diluting dilute sulphuric acid with ultrapure water; 2), next adding ferrous ions and a chemical chelating agent, adding a tissue equivalent material after heating a solution, and then fully stirring; and 3), further pouring the fully stirred solution into an acrylic hollow mold, cooling, sealing, and refrigerating. Measurement of various radiation components induced by therapeutic neutron beams and spatial distribution of the radiation components can be realized, such that radiation dose rates of a target region and normal tissues thereof can be analyzed more accurately, and accurate tumor treatment can be realized.
