Abstract:
According to the present invention, a computer executes a process for: acquiring, in order to accurately predict the sugar content and fruit weight of fruits and vegetables, an actual value or a predicted value of cumulative solar radiation and daytime average carbon dioxide concentration at each of a plurality of stages into which a cultivation period from flowering to fruit harvesting for fruits and vegetables is divided; calculating a first index regarding the sugar content or weight of the fruit at each of the plurality of stages on the basis of the cumulative solar radiation and daytime average carbon dioxide concentration at each of the plurality of stages; calculating a product of the first index of each of the plurality of stages and the weighting coefficient determined for each fruit and vegetable variety and stage; and predicting the sugar content or weight of the fruit on the basis of the value obtained by integrating the obtained products.
