Abstract:
Provided is a post-pouring mold removal device that uses an electric motor, the mold removal device capable of generating a large torque initially and then performing an upward-removal operation at high speed. The post-pouring mold removal device comprises: an electric motor; a drive mechanism including a rotating drive shaft that is driven by the electric motor; a lifting/lowering frame that enables lifting and lowering of a sand mold portion while supporting the lower surface thereof; a link member provided between the drive mechanism and the lifting/lowering frame; and an ascent regulation device that abuts on the outer periphery of a mold frame to regulate the ascent of the mold frame. The drive mechanism comprises: a displacement unit that, in a removal position for removing the sand mold portion from the mold frame, cooperates with the ascent regulation device to displace the lifting/lowering frame by a predetermined length in order to detach the sand mold portion from the mold frame; and an upward-removal unit that removes the displaced sand mold portion upward, with a force smaller than the force of displacement by the displacement unit and at a speed higher than the speed of displacement by the displacement unit.
