Abstract:
A polyvinyl alcohol polymer obtained by saponification of a copolymer of a vinyl ester monomer and a polyfunctional monomer that includes at least two polymerizable unsaturated bonds in the molecule thereof, the polyvinyl alcohol polymer characterized in that the average degree of polymerization thereof as measured by the method described in JIS K 6726:1994 is 3000-6000, and the reactivity of the polymerizable unsaturated bonds of the polyfunctional monomer is 55%-75%.
