Title:
POLYOXYMETHYLENE COMPOSITION HAVING HIGH PERFORMANCE AND HIGH GLOW WIRE FLAMMABILITY INDEX, PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR AND USE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/095383
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A polyoxymethylene composition, comprising the following components in parts by weight: 32-70 parts of POM resin, 10-25 parts of a glass fiber, 25-40 parts of an organic silicon-coated ammonium polyphosphate, 1-7 parts of pentaerythritol, 0.5-2 parts of a lubricant, 0.1-0.5 parts of a primary antioxidant, and 0.1-0.3 parts of a secondary antioxidant. The pH value of the organic silicon-coated ammonium polyphosphate is 6.5-8.5, and the glass fiber is an alkali-free chopped glass fiber. The organic silicon-coated ammonium polyphosphate is used in conjunction with pentaerythritol, so as to increase the glow wire flammability index of the POM composition, and reduce the degradation effect of ammonium polyphosphate on the POM. Meanwhile, the alkali-free chopped glass fiber is added to enhance the mechanical properties of POM, ultimately obtaining the POM composition having a high glow wire flammability index and good mechanical properties.
