Abstract:
To provide a polymerizable composition that exhibits superior solubility, does not exhibit crystal precipitation, and has high storage stability even when stored in a high-temperature, high-humidity state, such that a film-like polymer obtained by polymerizing said composition has superior hardness while maintaining superior orientation properties. To additionally provide an optically anisotropic member or the like comprising said polymerizable composition. Provided is a polymerizable composition containing: a) a polymerizable compound that has a maximum UV absorption peak at a wavelength of 320–380 nm, comprises one or more polymerizable groups, and satisfies formula (I); b) one or more types of intramolecular-bond-cleaving photoinitiator (B) having a maximum UV absorption peak at a wavelength of 250–330 nm; and c) one or more types of hydrogen-extracting photoinitiator (C) having a maximum UV-visible light absorption peak at a wavelength of 360–420 nm. Also provided is an optically anisotropic member or the like produced using the polymerizable liquid crystal composition according to the present invention.
