Abstract:
Provided are: a polymer composite material that has excellent functionality, makes effective use of previously unused waste plastics and waste products as a filler, and contributes to achieving the SDGs; and technology for producing the polymer composite material. A method for producing the polymer composite material includes: a step in which a polyalcohol (25), a thickener (26) for increasing the viscosity of the polyalcohol (25), a polymer compound (27), and in some cases a filler (28) are mixed to obtain a mixture (22); and a step in which the mixture (22) is loaded into a sealed container (30), heated, and kneaded to obtain a melt-kneaded body (23).
