Abstract:
A polyarylene sulfide copolymer which has a glass transition temperature of from 95°C to 190°C (inclusive) and a melting point of 300°C or less or no melting point as determined by differential scanning calorimetry, and which has, as a structural unit, an arylene sulfide unit that has a number average molecular weight Mn of from 1,000 to 10,000 (inclusive). Consequently, the present invention is able to provide a polyarylene sulfide copolymer which is highly stable in terms of physical properties such as stiffness at high temperatures, while exhibiting excellent moldability and chemical resistance.
