Title:
POLYARYLENE ETHER KETONE RESIN
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/050323
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a PAEK resin which exhibits excellent adhesion to a metal while having an extremely low content of elements that are unnecessary in constituent elements inherent in the resin, such as metal elements, phosphorus, chlorine and bromine; and a molded body containing the PAEK resin. This polyarylene ether ketone resin is characterized: by satisfying (A) to (D); and in that, relative to the total number of carbon atoms in all repeating units contained in the resin, the molar ratio of ketone groups in all repeating units is 9.5 mol% or more, and the molar ratio of ether groups in all repeating units is 4.5 mol% or more. (A) The residual quantity of any element classified into groups 2-6 of the periodic table from among groups 3-13 of the periodic table, excluding Tc (technetium) and Pm (promethium), for which stable isotopes do not exist, is 100 ppm or less. (B) The residual quantity of each of Cl and Br is 100 ppm or less. (C) The residual quantity of P is 100 ppm or less. (D) The resin contains a repeating unit (1-1) represented by general formula (1-1) and may further contain a repeating unit (2-1) represented by general formula (2-1).
